Andrea Carey is the Director of Operation and Special Projects with Sport for Life Society and oversees inclusion projects for the organization as well as operations of the organization. She is also the Principal of Concentric Concentric Inc., a health & sport promotions company engaging communities through Physical Literacy and Canadian Sport for Life. She has a BA in Leisure ServiceAdministration and a MEd in Leadership Studies. Andrea is an international expert on inclusion through sport and physical activity and does work across Indigenous peoples, Newcomers, Women & Girls, and Persons with a Disability. She is the former Chair of the Inclusion Committee for the International Physical Literacy Association and has been on the board of directors for the Canadian Paralympic Committee for the past 8 years and is the Chair of the Sport Development Committee, and is co-Chairing an advisory group on creating safe, welcoming and inclusive environments. She also shares her time and expertise to her volunteer roles as a Director at Large for the Canadian Paralympic Committee (for the past eight years) and Board Director for KidSport Victoria.
